Our Story
Property management has been a family business of ours since 2007. For the past decade, we acquired dozens of multi-family properties and benefitted from the real estate market's appreciation. Since then, prices for these properties have become overwhelmingly expensive and less desirable for real estate investors. There needed to be a shift in business model.
In 2018, we entered the single-room occupancy market. Between sober housing and homeless shelter programs, we were able to increase gross rental income by as much as 250%. In our own success, we felt confident that we could expand to manage a portfolio of external clients' properties. In 2019, HKD Management was founded.
